Please understand that we don’t engage in simulated diplomas. These are replica diplomas that supposedly look like the one’s issue by prestigious educational organizations. We don’t play that kind of game. I know there are a lot of satire sites where you can order a diploma from Harvard University. Well, it’s not really Harvard but you know what I mean.
We don’t entertain such shenanigans because we have a mission on this website. Our mission is to tell the world in no uncertain terms that it’s not the piece of paper that qualifies the person. That’s right. If you are looking for somebody to manage people, it’s not the piece of paper in their hands that tell the world that they graduated from a certain organization with a certain emphasis of study.
Let’s face it. In practical terms, it’s not really your diploma that qualifies you. You know what qualifies you? It’s yourself. Do you show up to work 15 minutes ahead of time? Do you finish your to-do list items day after day? Do you participate at work to the point that you pioneer all sorts of solutions so your team members are helped tremendously? Are you the type of person whom people go to for answers because you know how to do a job backward and forwards? Are you the type of person who acts as some sort of cheerleader to get people excite about a common goal? Are you the type of person who is willing to work as long as possible until the job is done?
If you answered “Yes” to all of these, then you don’t need a diploma. I know it sounds crazy, but let me tell you, there are many people who have no diploma and started at the bottom. But because they answered yes to all the questions above, they ended up at the very top. This is not a fantasy. This is not some sort of tall-tale. This is not an anecdotal piece of evidence.

This happens all the time because sadly, in America, there is an emergency right now. It’s called the “credentials emergency” because the sad reality is that a lot of the people who seem to have the right paperwork cannot do the job. There are lots of people in middle management who cannot manage their way out of a wet paper bag because they don’t know how to work with people.
They don’t know how to solve problems. They don’t have the right attitude so that when they get knocked down, they would think it’s everybody else’s fault except their own. They are too busy blaming others for their failings that they don’t put themselves in a position to learn to become more effective managers.
There are too many crybabies out there and I am sorry to report that a lot of them are millennials. So if you want to really move ahead, stop thinking in terms of diplomas and start thinking about the above questions. Feel free to leave a comment. Feel free to leave a suggestion.
